Terms and Conditions
1. The Company
Upstage.com.sg is operated by Upstage Collections Pte Ltd in Singapore.
We accept payments through:
- Visa / MasterCard credit or debit cards
Payment will be processed through a service provider in Singapore, in Singapore Dollars.
- Bank transfers (for Singapore only)
The total sum payable will be displayed when you complete the payment process.
3. Shipping & Delivery
We offer Ready-to-Wear, Intimates, Made-to-Order and Made-to-Measure dresses and each category would require different handling time, you will be able to view all the shipping information in the respective product page.
Ready-to-wear/Intimates: existing dresses all ready to be shipped out. Dresses should arrive approximate 10 working days to Singapore and 15 working days to other countries.
Made-to-Order: dresses made from scratch but only in standard sizes. Dresses should arrive approximate 12-15 working days to Singapore and 17-20 working days to other countries.
Made-to-Measure: dresses made from scratch but completely customised to your measurements. Depending on the complexity of the dresses, the time to deliver each dress will be indicated on the product page or advised separately for bespoke services.
The above is indicative delivery timing only so do refer to respective product page or sign into your account to track the shipment. Please note that we are not responsible for any delays caused by payment authorisation or customs clearance processes in the destination country.
Do note that buyers are responsible for all shipping, returns and exchange shipping fees unless otherwise stated.
For international shipments, buyers are responsible for all customs and duty charges.
Once an order is dispatched we are unable to redirect.
All accessories and headdresses that are shown in images are for styling purpose only and are not part of the purchase item.
4. Return Policies
We love that you love our dresses, so to ensure that you continue that love after you’ve received the dress, we will be offering a 7-day return policy if you are not completely satisfied. Simply get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 calendar days of receipt of the dress and ensure that the item to reach us within 2 weeks from email confirmation. Once we have received the item, we will proceed to process the exchange. indly note that return shipment will be arranged through us via our delivery personnel and the transportation fee of SGD10 will be borne by you (unless the item has a defect or wrong items shipped).
For all returning orders, please make sure that they are in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean, free of lint and hair and with tags intact and attached. If the returned dress does not satisfy any of these conditions, we will not be able to perform the exchange and the dress will have to be collected by you.
Reason for Returns

*All exchange items will reach you according to the shipping period indicated on the product page.
Made-to-Order and Made-to-Measure dresses
As these dresses are customised, the finished dress may vary by approximately one inch and is not considered as a defect. Our tailors have included additional allowance in the seams so that you have the freedom to make minor size modifications.
If your dress size differs from the specifications of your order by more than one inch, please contact our post-sales team at firstname.lastname@example.org. For Singapore residents, we will direct you to our appointed tailor. Simply bring your dress down within 7 days from receipt of the item and we will make the necessary alteration, absorbing the cost up to 20% of the purchase price, with the remaining amount topped up by you.
For non-Singapore residents, you would have to visit your local tailor for alteration and send us the e-receipt when requesting for reimbursement. Kindly note that you will have to contact us prior visiting the tailor, any alterations done before notifying us will not be reimbursed.
However if the items are tailored according to the specifications in your order, we would not be able to bear the alteration costs.
Kindly note that all MTO and MTM dresses are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Kindly note that all items from our Intimates collection are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for hygiene reasons.
5. Defective Items
We practice strict quality control, and it will be highly unlikely that defective items will be shipped out. However, errors may still happen and you may unfortunately receive a defective dress. In the event if you wish to return the item due to its defects, kindly note that the following will not be eligible for a refund / exchange:
- Variance of one inch from the measurements
- Colour difference due to the settings of your computer screen
- Slight differences in shading of two products of the same fabric (due to variations in the dying process)
- Stray threads and removable dirt / stains
- Any other non-quality related issues
6. Upstage Dollars
With every SGD20 regular purchase you make (excluding shipping), we reward you with 1 Upstage Dollar that can be used to offset your next buy!
Next Buy Nett Transaction
Upstage Dollars are valid for 6 months from the date awarded and can be used to offset up to 50% of your next purchase, subject to a minimum of S$50 nett purchase. Upstage Dollars will not be awarded in conjunction with card promotions or discount codes. Upstage Dollars are not exchangeable for cash or kind. Upstage Collections Pte Ltd reserves the right to reverse or cancel Upstage Dollars which have been issued if a purchase is cancelled or returned at a later date or in the event of any error or discrepancy. Upstage Collections Pte Ltd has the right to refuse the issuance of Upstage Dollars at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, all Upstage Dollars will be awarded based on the SGD nett price for transactions charged in other currencies.
7. Gift Card
Gift Card is available in denominations of SGD50 and is valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issuance. Once it’s sold, it’s not refundable or transferable.
Please note that Upstage Collections Pte Ltd has the right to change the above terms and conditions at any time without notice.
Upstage Collections Pte Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage in relation to any, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or postage-due mail, or any orders that are processed late, incorrectly or lost due to computer or other electronic breakdown or malfunction or any other reason which is out of the control of Upstage Collections Pte Ltd.
Upstage Collections Pte Ltd makes not representation or warranty as to any item purchased. All images shown on our website and any description of materials which need to be translated from a foreign language are displayed on a best effort basis. Upstage Collections Pte Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage caused due to a discrepancy in relation to the image/ description shown on our website and the material/ item dispatched.
